This movie may take one aback at first, but hang on. The movie starts with a quick pace that caught my breath while my brain worked to grasp its concept. Tom Hanks is terrific. The cinematography and special effects took me on a wonderful journey. The movie is illuminating, and excellent. I consider this an Art Film hoping to reach out to an eclectic audience. I’m pretty sure most Boomers will enjoy it. Be sure to see it in a movie theater. This is a movie I will want to own to savor it. Now I must read the book.

I thought this movie was fantastic. I wondered if it was a true story, but I think it isn't. Still, the ending caught me off guard and I was emotional about it. Hard to believe this movie is from 2011. It's a lovely piece.
