I just watched this. No one said anything about when this guy got to Goondiwindi and got turned back through the covid. Abandoned his vehicle and went bush. I remember this and was worried and wondering why and where he was going. Nothing was done about it. Yes. Covid. but we were all being told what we could and couldn't do. We had to not go and say our final goodbyes to my husbands Mum. My Mum too for many years. So many rules and ifs and buts. My point is that this guy should have rung alarm bells really. He had guns and ammo in his vehicle. Why was it not followed up then?
