I have never written a movie review until now, I appreciate what they were going for, the cinematography was good, sound design was good, but as a lifelong fan of the original movie I've felt the remakes are hard to carry on without being skewed. Michael is The Shape, what you know is there but cannot see, when you give him all of the screen time he received in the last 3 films, he is no longer a mystery rather just another serial killer. I'm not going to rate this poorly because I enjoyed segments of this film, again great ambiance! If you've watched only these additions to the 1978 version then it does carry itself and set itself up for what is coming. Watch it if you really enjoy the movies before, I think it ends them nicely. As it states in the title though Halloween Ends, so keep that in mind.
