John Tomblin – Google

This film is graphic, raw, brutal, and honest. I was drained after watching it the first time. I felt like I held my breath for two hours straight. It grabs you in the first ten seconds and then just keeps squeezing harder. I had to watch it twice to capture what is, without a doubt, one of the most action-packed filled movie I've ever seen. Adam Sandler was simply brilliant in his role and the entire cast was superb. I haven't seen "Good Times", at least not yet, but the Safdie Brothers have apparently unlocked the secrets of great film making. Watch it!

I'm not one to watch most sci-fi television series since most of them are simply stupid, but this one really caught my eye after reading an article able Simon Stalenhag, the artist whose work inspired the series... and I'm now part of the loop. If you are looking for laser beams and tons of panning, this is not the show for you. Rather, this show is like watching art. It makes you really think, and the stories are extremely well thought out. The acting is simply amazing, as is the music and cinematography. It might seem slow to some, but it's actually part of the show's dynamic. With cast members from movies/shows like "Ant Man", "Game of Thrones", "The Gift", "Terminator Salvation" and "The Ring", you can't go wrong. I only hope that its appeal is strong enough so Amazon creates more seasons.
