This movie portrays Sri Lanka in a negative light, which is unfair and misleading. Sri Lankan people are known for their kindness, support, and respectability. The film seems to suggest that Sri Lanka is not a safe or desirable travel destination, using specific dialogues and locations to insult the country. Additionally, end of the the storyline is confusing despite being together for five years, Amritha shoots her husband instead of the villagers, leaving the audience unsure of what the director is trying to convey.
