Nigel Farage reflects much of what many people on the street think about UK politics and has a real synergy with real people in his live meet the people shows. The problem with UK politics now is its unfairly swayed to the established parties due to our electoral system. At General Elections we get something like a 59% turnout because most people, like me think their vote is wasted. I haven't voted at any election in this country for over 40 years and I am 67 now. Yet the recent Scottish & Brexit referendums commanded about 80% turnout to vote because every vote counted. If we had a system of proportional representation in this country we would have a proper majority government rather than a minority of the minority and I would bet the Nigel would be our PM and make a heck of a better go of it than recent incombants!
