Where can I start. This film is frankly a shallow depiction of gender stereotypes that make individuality the pinnacle of love relations. As if in only finding yourself you can then have a relationship? The primacy of the individual in the age of narcissism. If that is not bad enough, the end of the film is topped off with a nihilist idealization of life. You deal with it and then you die. You really can't do any internal work to connect with the self that can mend the discontinuities and find peace, fulfillment and gratitude in life in relationship to others you love and share a life with. You basically have to simply give up. A movie, as many of today, is devoid of depth, reflection and work of true existential gender struggle that seems so apparent in 'modernity'.
