As a first generation Latin American, I was honestly not expecting much from a movie giving us a beetle for a superhero, but man I was delightfully mistaken. It was so refreshing and funny. It made us cry, laugh, and had our attention the entire time! Even my children, who are growing up without so much Latin influence as I did, could not stop laughing and relating to this movie. I will say some of the more sexual references could have been left out as I took children but it only happened about twice. If you are very strict about curse words then this may not be a movie you'd approve, and yes it leans towards a more stereotypical way of speaking for us, but you'd be lying if you didn't relate to it. I've learned over the years that when a trailer seems amazing, the movie is subpar and vice versa, so we are glad we took a chance to go see it in theatres in immersive sound. Worth the watch! Gave 4 stars because the story line didn't have much to give but other than that it's a movie you'll want to see again.
