When I stepped out of a van on the rim of The Grand Canyon, I cried. It’s beauty and vastness overwhelmed me. I felt the same way as I watched this documentary “Into the Canyon” that follows two men , Kevin Fedarko and Pete McBride as they walk from the starting point of the Canyon to its end, 750 miles of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. I am so grateful to these men for filming the hidden wonders of this National Park and the struggles of the Native Americans as they fight to preserve their land in and around the Canyon. This is a “must see” film not only for its beauty but for the need to protect it from greed and exploitation. I will remember this piece of film always.
