I've read both the positive and negative reviews for this show. I was surprised at the number of negative reviews considering only 2 episodes were released on Disney+ at the time. This one brings in other cultures and issues faced by immigrants. The cast are young adults instead of the familiar and older Ben and Riley. So far this show is a pretty interesting youthful spin on the classic and even pays homage to the original movies. Be careful reading reviews that voice opinions as if they are facts. I've read the characters aren't relatable or kids who enjoyed the original movies got bored in the 1st episode. The characters are relatable as they seem very familiar to other young adults I know, but relatability is subjective I guess. I could see how kids could get bored because my son is the same way, but it doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the episodes so far. I look forward to seeing how this story plays out, especially with Catherine Zeta-Jones as the villain. Could this set up a future collaboration between the main characters of the movie franchise and the Disney+ series?
