It's a dinosaur movie. We go to it to see dinosaurs destroying things. We don't go for overcomplicated plots that are designed just to cram old characters onscreen together. That's literally the first half of this movie. And when we get to the dinosaur action, it's well-contained, which is the exact opposite of what this series has been telling us that they've been building up to for decades.
