I'm giving this two stars because of the performances by Amy Adams & Ideia Menzel, & Patrick Dempsey, though Patrick started off strong, but fell apart as the movie progressed. There was no relatable "magic" in the story line, there was no follow up with Giselle's once thriving dress business, despite having a cute baby, what 15 years difference from Morgan, the baby (did it even have a name?) had no relevance to the story. There were loose ends, the song melodies were all over the place, not catchy, or singable like the original. I was hoping for so much more - a continuation of how" happy-ever-after" was, more NYC references and back and forths from cartoon to live action, as was in the original, and stronger story lines. Magic wands and wishes just didn't cut it. I still love Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey, though.
