I wanted to love this movie, as I come from a family of 3 daughters. Like the movie, we all went our separate ways, but when it came to our parents illnesses and deaths, we were present. For our parents and each other. I couldn't relate to the coldness and sarcasm they displayed to each other. We loved each other unconditionally as we were raised. It boils down to what you were taught as children through adulthood. We were close and always kept in touch in good and bad times. Death storyline not unusual, but the hospice guy was over the top....plus the one daughter's obsession over the DNR was weird. It just left me with questions. Didn't Rachel work? How could she afford as much pot she smoked, that storyline was unrealistic. Also, too much dialogue. I almost immediately quit with Carrie Coon's opening nonstop speech. Boring.
