Good strategy for the team behind CSI to bring back some original casts on the new show to pull some former viewers in - including myself as I really dig Sara and Gil. Happy to see that they kept the tone, feel and editing style of the original CSI (with of course some upgrades on the set, characters, stories, etc). The actress portraying Maxine was a perfect fit for the role as she delivered above expectation. As for Allie, her acting wasn't convincing enough to make me see that she is good/passionate with what she is doing. I guess this show just needs to make the storylines much interesting as I find it slower than the original and former CSIs. Nevertheless, I'll be including this in my list of crime shows to watch - I just don't know by the time (or how I would feel) when the original casts would no longer be in this show.
