This is a wonderful biography of an amazing women in Florida lore. Janet Wood Reno was a character etched from the rugged life found living in and around the Florida Everglades. Tales of wrestling alligators and smoking and drinking with Seminole Indians brings spirit and fun to the books non stop tales.
We learn Janet Wood Reno raised a family of two boys and two girls. Most interesting are the girls who you probably know. Janet Reno, Attorney General of the United States was the oldest daughter. Next in line was was the colorful and most interesting and nationally know environmentalist daughter, Maggy Hurchalla.
It is non stop reading following the person who was behind raising these two amazing women. It is a fun book, one I highly recommend.
