Yeah. Agree this was confusing. It seemed quite contrived and that Alice was not so much compelling as she was manipulative. The whole "man of honor" thing ended predictably, as it would in any American made Rom Com (expecting more from the Brits? Unfair? Maybe). I enjoyed the characters on the periphery. And, back to Alice, to be that manipulative, there's no need for the incest back story (p.s. no trigger warnings). There are plenty of confused folks in relationships and often there's one who's less in control than the other. Also, the money thing. She's redeemed because she showed up with cash? I suppose it's a flip on the Pretty Woman theme (?). Sometimes it doesn't take a bag of cash to get back into someone's good graces (helping with a move used to do it for me!) Have to say, though, that I was eager to get through all episodes without interruption so maybe it works on that level.
