This film is very captivating in many ways. First off, it was filmed on 35mm, which is great for this type of movie. Nowadays, people expect films to be "in your face" or "exploding with craziness", but that is what makes this film great. It is based off of a true story, and keeps to that story no less than 97%. Though slow at parts, it still pulled its weight during those parts, filling it with story, or character. I do also enjoy the ending of the film, because in the real world, the two (there were 3 irl, but only 2 in the film) explorers end up facing a hostile tribe. This is half true, because no one truly knows what happened, but local tribes say this is a possibly. All in all, this film is definitely a solid make and I highly recommend it.
