Two stars for art style that's about it even the voice acting seems a little bit off for Batman. What in the gender swap DEI did I just watch? And what did they do to the penguin!? I'm only watching the first episode and I'm about 9 minutes and 34 seconds in and already The nostalgia is gone. At best they kept Harvey dent the same didn't swap genders and kept his somewhat classic backstory. "SOMEONE IN THE COMMENT SECTION THAT APPARENTLY NOW HARLEY QUINN IS GAY AND SHE'S ALREADY CRAZY OFF TO GET GO, SO THERE'S REALLY NO BUILD UP TO HER BACKSTORY" Apparently commissioner Gordon is black and that also means Barbara is a person of color which means now we're doing a full circle back to the failed Live action Batgirl TV show that not many people remember and sure yeah that makes sense. A race swap of Batgirl that's fun 😅 because race swapping hasn't been done before in Batman 🙃 Mind you I'm a poc and I find that a terrible choice. Literally pandering to the lowest common denominator. To appease who? God forbid that they make Hugo Strange a Mexican woman lol. According to DEI I wouldn't put it past them. Any particular reason why Alfred depicted as an obease overweight Butler? I mean we really are checking all the boxes here. I like the art style generally speaking and I like the flat noir look which I don't mind but everything else just screams desperate and pandering. Before you know it joker's going to make an appearance and "they will be a non-transgender, non-conforming, asexual, demiromantic, zey, zem, her, she, he, him, non-birany cis-human pronound Asian-American, international Spaniard, multiracial African-American, Northern islander citizen of (insert country). Just to be sure to check all the boxes...(Obviously missed the 10,000+ that exist)😮‍💨 I don't need to watch all 10 episodes to know that this is full of DEI and they twisted something that didn't need to be twisted. Simple as that. I was better off seeing something completely new rather than a reiteration that shows that no one is able to keep it original to a degree with a little bit of creative liberty with some to few new elements to keep the sanctity of what once was. It is very clear there is no regard for that. (Once again, everything woke turns to sht.) All I wanted to do was watch a Batman show that brings my childhood back to the forefront where I can escape for just a little bit and not have to worry about any political woke DEI riddled nonsense but unfortunately that's what I see and that's what I got. Always being forced. It's disappointing. And remember I'm only 9 minutes and 34 seconds into the first episode! I'll be sure to make an update if I can stomach the next nine episodes hell let alone Episode 1.

I just recently started watching the regular Rick and Morty show on adult swim and other streaming services. I really enjoyed the first season of the regular Rick and Morty show. But then I noticed that adult swim was advertising the Rick and Morty: The anime series. Knowing me growing up on toonami and an avid anime fan watching shows such as sailor Moon to Yu Yu Hakusho, Inuyasha, Gigantor, Cowboy Bebop and many more such as trigun, dragon Ball z and dead man wonderland. I figured the Rick and Morty: The Animated Series would be a good watch... I was wrong. See, I already started having appreciation for the first season of the original Rick and Morty. And to call the new series anime is kind of a slap in the face when it looks like a fanfiction of the original Rick and Morty. It felt hollow, poorly written, cruddy art style in my opinion and the pacing is just slow and unfunny. I barely got through the first episode let alone the first three. It didn't catch my attention it wasn't engaging and for me it doesn't really make me want to go back to watch the original series let alone this new series or anything that's associated with Rick and Morty. Knowing that, the original from my understanding lasted seven seasons and through some research they're working on a 9th season. I have no interest in watching Rick and Morty. This new series left a bad taste in my mouth and it doesn't seem appealing to me if you're going to tarnish it with a half baked "anime" that comes off more as a fanfiction or parody. See I'm a gamer at heart and a fan of anime ultimately. Trust me I'm picky with the type of anime that I like and the type of shows that I watch. It's very odd to me, you had gold with Rick and Morty and then you ruined it. You were beating a dead horse. BoJack horseman would take offense but still I don't think anybody asked for an anime version of Rick and Morty, I sure didn't. I think that's the mistake here... What's that phrase... "You were trying to appeal to everyone but in the end appealed to no one." Take it as you will.

If I was drunk or high I'd probably enjoy this movie. So glad I didn't spend money on this dumpster fire at the theater. Go through 30 min of the movie and was board out of my mind. Story had a odd pacing, CGI was trash. Even when the wizard turn the floor into sand you can tell this was on a budget. I was more interested in the lizard folk and Jonathan's back story than any of the main characters. Lame jokes and tired tropes. A back stab revenge fantasy movie founded on live and good deeds. It's over rated and tried and true may as well be a children's movies. I only recognized one actor and it was Michelle Rodriguez. That's it. All the other actors I didn't care for and her performance was forced at best. I am a Fan of watching D&D I simply hate sitting through it. If more effort was put into the script writing and the CGI and fighting scenes with a bigger budget and better talent there might have been hope for this movie. Sadly this goes in my "I'm bored, let's watch a trash movie list" good thing i only wasted 30 min. Of my time, anywho cheers.

I grew up enjoying the TMNT series back in 2003 and I believe is the best one to this day. 7 seasons of quality development. However the quality of Nickelodeon's cartoons are simply going down hill on par with Cartoon Network. Personally Rise of TMNT doesn't seem like a worth wild show Nick lost there way with quality content. To be honest the voice acting isn't good and Mikey plays a small part that I've seen. John Cena just seems like he's one the verge of a last act like the Rock he's on his last legs trying to stay relevant. All 4 turtles act like Mikey and come off mediocre and splinter is just a lousy character with no meaningful message to bring to the table. April is black... wow how shocking! It's like your attempting to meet an agenda it's sad and really unless on Nick's part. The reboot wasn't asked for nor does it seem like it's going to last. 2 seasons so far. The into theme song is piss poor and not something that brings anything to remember it by. The fighting is piss poor and the abilities and powers takes away what once sold and was well developed ninjistu is bare used and it Caters to simpletons that can only understand simple messages. I don't enjoy TTG nor do I find enjoyment of ROTMNT. You take something great and turn it into dust. I hope that someday someone brings the 2003 TMNT back where the meaningful messages and good artstyle and quality is brought back. The TMNT before looked like a Jimmy Nutron style with TMNT but the story overall in ROTMNT is slow going and uninspiring. ROTNMNT appeals to the younger crowd that has nothing to compare it to which is expected. Overall I'm not impressed and I wouldn't recommend unless you honestly have nothing better to do. As for me I just found the 2003 TMNT and I never had a chance to finish all (7 seasons). So til Nick gets their heads out the ground there will not be many good cartoons coming from them. Nick is really just turning in to the quality of Cartoon Network I don't believe we will be getting any good content from Nick for a while.
