As a bibliophile, I have been slacking on reading these past few years. Born a Crime has been in my radar for quite sometime and I finally managed to pick it up by borrowing through Libby. The moment I started reading it, I can’t seem to stop. It’s easy to read and easy to relate to. It’s as if I’m catching up with a friend while he shares the snippets of his life that I missed. It’s a wonderful read that stirs up your emotions. After reading it, I didn’t want to return it immediately because I want the feeling of satisfaction of finishing a good book to linger even though it left an empty space because I just finished a good book so quickly. Now, I’m going to buy a physical copy and recommend it to friends who haven’t read it yet.
