I have enjoyed Star Trek from my early years. The movies and the series have been thought provoking, entertaining and a source of hope and for belief in a better humanity.
I am disappointed that after many years of examining the human story the writers or whoever continue to perpetuate the elimination of black 'people' in the early stages of a film. Killing Dodge's black boyfriend is a message we have seen to often in many pictures over the years. I don't believe that there was any ill intention but by now you should know better than to continue with these messages.
