Totally destroyed a reasonable story and film by ridiculous adherence to diversity.
Why, just why .. do the Directors of this film seek to portray real people from rural England in the 1920s by using actors of Afro or Indian descent? Gladys Moss was plainly an English woman not Asian and Britain's first black judge was not appointed until 2004. Just how many coppers at Littlehampton police station were black in 1920?
That and the ridiculous use of modern day foul language throughout and the gross re-writing of history spoilt this film, I didn't find the film amusing, just annoying.
