It has been a very long time since I watched something so gripping.
I do not watch gory stuff, but Mr Mercedes lures you in, to the point you just can't switch off.
For me anyway.
The acting from everyone was 1st class. I laughed on many an occasion at the witty remarks from Gleeson.His language is appalling but rather funny I confess. I stared in disbelief at the shocking scenes of carnage, tempted to switch off, but just couldn't.
Mr Mercedes will forever be up there in my top 3 favourite of all time.
Simply superb.
