Historical wise, Shogun wouldn't of been so petty and trivial within their own sect. They would not of gave in, regardless of number's, with so many heirs on their side, regardless of placement in the landscape, and there number's would of been greater . This show is wonderful, but I gave it three stars, because Toranaga Clan is from a family line of Inheritance Shogan, one of the most respected, and influential, and there leader is a coward of very few words, that never wanted the role until his head was on the chopping block. Not very Shogun.(fake reviews below , give it a rest with the positivity)

Great story plot..but some of the WORST cgi I have EVER seen ..it's 2024, we have phones that do a better job then this movie did, and they spent how much? Yes we have the right to Nitpik Cgi in an era of advanced computer's, and no it wasn't "intentionally done" they just wanted gaslight and backtrack after so many complaints. 3 stars for story plot. But that's it.

Been awhile sense I've actually enjoyed a macabre and hilarious plot like this one. It's quick witted, and some dark humor, but it a way it's not so bad, surprised it's not super popular tbh. Deserves way more credit.

Woke Americans call it "colonizer vibes" 5th generation African raised, cares for habitation and Conservation, helps and appreciates locals community (everything they buy is local) and renovated naturally, in way that helps and not harms the surrounding areas. It's a wonderful show and a breath of fresh air. Americans are exhausted yet never leave there states. 5 stars
