Got a chance to watch “Malayali from India” yesterday. I had my hopes high with Nivin and Dhyan combo and it worked upto some level, even if most of the comic plot didnt work very well for me. All the actors played there part very well. Especially Manju pillai and the actor who played as “Saheb”. The part of the movie which made me write this comment is the writing and direction. The film is about 3 hrs long with a never ending second half. I do think, a good editing would have kept the movie connected to the audience. It felt like the director wants to make the audience feel goosebumps by making reference to every cliche patriotic and cricket reference.

Amazing movie. I dont know why this movie have less rating. Amazing visuals, i mean he type of visuals the movie demands. Such movies , must get attention considering the shape of current bollywood movies….
