I have never hated a book more. The banter between the two main characters is cringey and it took genuine effort to finish this book. The dark themes felt like they were there solely for shock value instead of adding depth to the book. Z the hunky main character is a hypocrite, a creep, and if he were written as anyone other than a hunky vigilante nobody would enjoy this book. It’s not a dark romance, it is written in the same style as a 15 year old writing a watpad fanfic. Save your time, money, and sanity.
