Absolute garbage. I honestly hate this book and all the characters. I hope all copies of this book are thrown in a bonfire. I'm going to dive deep into why I hate this book now. The book does so much and the pacing is so off. They will randomly be changing settings, times of day, and other things like that. One instance of this is when they for some reason teleport to the Virgen Marys like, hill? It does not make sense. Not only is the pacing off, but the characters are just plain annoying. Odilia is the only remotely likable character, but she has no skills. All she does is use her magic earring. She is nothing like the character she is supposed to be Odysseus. Juanita is a know it all and acts like she's 5 years old. The twins are also annyoing, there just rude and mean to everyone else the entire book. They had no character growth at all. Don't get me started on Pita. She is supposed to be the cute younger one, but all she does is cry and whine the entire book. This book also tries to riff off of The Odyssey, but all I can think while reading this is that this book is The Odyssey if it was bad. When you read a book, something that adds to the fun is imagining what the setting looks like. But this book does nothing to help me accomplish that. All in all, this book is very bad. Mrs. Whoever wrote this book, I'm not saying all your writing is bad, but this book is bad.
