Disappointing to say the least. It was horrible. Two ⭐️s for bringing this super cast together, but that’s about it. Couldn't wait for it to be over. I’m a huge fan of the original too. Catch this one “inside!” 👎🏽

I was hooked from the get-go! I typically don’t like horror movies but Deliverance isn’t a typical horror movie, particularly with this strong black cast. I was delighted to see Monique and director Lee Daniel’s bury the hatchet and get back to some good work ⭐️👏🏽 Deliverance is all about redemption, addictions, forgiveness and distrust; perfect ingredients for the devil 👿 to intervene. It’s very reminiscent of the original exorcist with Linda Blair. Remember that one - it scared the shit outta me. This “so-called horror” kept my attention from start to finish. Great storyline - can’t believe it was adapted from a true story. Yes. The Deliverance is inspired by the true story of Latoya Ammons and her family who lived in a “haunted” Indiana home. The house where “this occurred” was recently demolished. Watch this “outside” now 👍🏽
