The pace was slow and it took 1 hour for the main character to show up. The plot felt disjointed. It had like 7 subplots that wandered aimlessly in the story. Plot was not smooth or fulfilling. Story arc sucked. We never got emotionally attached to any of the characters. Then the ending was incomplete and amateurish. Way too long to feel totally like a waste of 3 hours and my money. Best watched for free. Great cinematography was the only film positive. Poorly written. Poorly directed

This book was so far ahead of its time. It basically is a roadmap for where we are headed with the growth of cyberspace and the anonymous punk cultures. The dystopian societies of the book could very well be dire warnings of what’s to come.
