4/5. I'll be completely honest and admit readily I was looking for something to watch that seemed to lack any identity politics or alterior motive, as many, if not most, current films. It delivered. It was in the the top tier of any film I've seen in the past couple years. Also I'm not big into super heroes. Honest portrayal of grim set of circumstances. I previously watched the directors first major film, bone tomahawk, which was a sleeper and I plan to watch the directors other film starring Vince Vaughn.

I was surprised to see the ratings weren't higher. Maybe they thought it was a little too convoluted or something but I thought the different ways you could interpret the twists was fun. I don't know when this came out but it's like, inception is this movie on steroids and Quaaludes. I liked infinity room more. If Brad Pitt played the main character itd win an award, Sam Rockwell would've killed this. I looked it up. Christopher Soren Kelly. He did a great job too.
