4/5. I'll be completely honest and admit readily I was looking for something to watch that seemed to lack any identity politics or alterior motive, as many, if not most, current films. It delivered. It was in the the top tier of any film I've seen in the past couple years. Also I'm not big into super heroes. Honest portrayal of grim set of circumstances.
I previously watched the directors first major film, bone tomahawk, which was a sleeper and I plan to watch the directors other film starring Vince Vaughn.
