Great cinematography and sound effects. Beautiful cast. The lead character had an interesting tight lipped silence about her, and it was difficult to connect as a viewer. Overall, This film reminded me of a wannabe pop culture phenomenon like silence of the lambs. It wanted the emotional investment and suspense, but it didn’t quite get there. Aside from a handful of jump scares and brief gore, Longlegs was a disappointingly inept horror flick.
