this movie is sick. the entirety of it doesn’t even come close to disclosing the torture sylvia went through, but rather focuses on gertrude’s “feelings,” painting her as a struggling woman who simple acted out from stress…which absolutely wasnt the case. that murderer was a sick individual who isn’t deserving of any sympathy whatsoever. the way this movie paints the baniszewskis is absolutely disgusting.
