Well, I like it up to a point because I wrote it but I have since run into, or been told about, so many other fantastic stories from the war I am at once humbled by my own bold claim and so sorry I missed so many other great stories I have since heard of. I mean from that world wide tableau, from those millions of events and personal stories , there can no one set of “Best” stories, really. Wouldn’t I like to start over again?! Sure would, and I might , with a possible Best Little Stories website we’re working on. Stay tuned, please.
