Went into this movie very Excited, been hanging out for weeks to see it so much so that I got my wife to watch “Get-out” and “Us” in preparation so she could get a feel for JP’s style. I was so excited I even bought my brother a ticket for his birthday so he could join me and my wife. When it ended I looked at them both….said “I’m sorry” an got up an left. this movie was Awful!! The only part of the movie were I was invested an on the edge of my seat was the two aliens in the barn that ended up being children dressed up. I was like “here we go” but then…..Nope back to nothing! It kept dragging on with pointless dialogue and no real structure. The Monkey was the best part of the movie, if those scenes weren’t in the movie there is no way I would of got JP’s overall message. It’s like he went in with an idea, an half way through in the writers room someone said “You know what will be cool??” “You should make the Alien a Bedsheet” JP: “GENIUS!!” This movie is Trash put it in the garbage an call it a day.
