I’ve read all of the reviews. So, all I want to add, is, I am another lifetime fan of Elvis, born in 1948. This was very close to actually seeing Elvis in person, something I was too young to do. I feel that I was close to him after seeing this film, on my own, Nobody else wanted to go. Austin, I feel, embodied Elvis’ soul. I like to think that Elvis himself had an input in this film, and he enjoyed the result. Good, that I was alone, because I would have had to restrain myself. Tears were a waterfall down my face. My whole youth came back to me, I loved him and love him still. He was no ordinary mortal was he, he was the most beautiful man ever and his voice was the best ever. He was sent to us as a guru, a master, he was sent by almighty God as a gift to mankind. Thank you God.

Some brilliant reviews but I want to say something else. I love Nigel Slater, I have followed him online, he’s different. I hope it worked out well for him and his adult life brought him love as well as success. I wonder whose idea it was to play Dusty all throughout. That was the perfect backdrop. I haven’t heard her for a long long time, I shall get her greatest hits cds out. If it was a comedy I missed it, ok, I got the sarcasm and wit, but I thought it was really reminiscent of my heartbreaking upbringing and teenage years, listening to Dusty’s ballads, that woman has such a poignant and moving voice, and feeling the overall loneliness and abandonment of that era for me…..mirrored in the film. Quite an experience, thanks.

I loved it! Don’t know why, it was just evocative of feelings I may have had, or imagined, it inspired me to paint too, and be a hippy person…instead of boring old me right now who’s lost everybody because I became a conspiracy theorist….just waiting to be proved I’m not. Maybe that’s why I liked this film….because I’m in between two realms….. Thank you 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
