Jake Gyllenhaal was magnificient! Not many actors could carry a film entirely ON HIS OWN from beginning to end. If he doesn't win an acting award for this film, there is no justice!

Outstanding! As a Catholic at the time, I was reminded of a pre-marital meeting with a priest advising me and my soon-to-be bride of the importance of maturing in your faith and leaving a child's understanding of it behind (the topic was birth control). I've never forgotten the lesson.
