The title of the novel was Persuasion, if Netflix wanted a feisty female character it would be Emma, Pride and Prejudice. This showed a complete lack of understanding of Ann’s predicament. This goes down as one of the worst book into film I have ever seen. It was as bad as Reese Witherspoons interpretation of Becky Sharpe as a nice person.
