Definitely not one of Costner's best films. I am not sure if it was a bad script or bad editing or what? But it was 3 hours of wishing the plot and characters would develop.
A series of mini stories within the story of the struggle of the American Frontier. It almost felt like 15 different people wrote the script with 15 different goals.
