That acting isn’t terrible. Kelsey Grammer is always good. John Cleese is as well. A few others stand out. But overall, the story is horrific. It’s not quite a comedy, not quite a drama, not quite a feel-good story…. it’s a different the writers/directors wanted to make a movie but didn’t know what KIND of movie to make. So they said “Christmas? Sure. And we’ll add some family issues.” In the end, it wasn’t awful. But it definitely wasn’t good.
