This is like watching filmed theatre, reminiscent of the work of Bertolt Brecht, the theatrical devices strip away and the audience is compelled to see the bare unadulterated bones of the message. A beautifully crafted piece of cinema that is compelling to watch, no wonder this piece attracted actors of such quality. This is not the usual film pulp and what a relief to see something that does not compromise.
