So as good as the classic Pokémon diamond and pearl are, when Pokémon remakes come out there’s usually this idea that there’s something new that gives old and new players incentive to play, and sadly there’s really none of that here. Other than some additions to the underground and the new pal park, there’s no new bits of story, no different forms, just one-to-one remakes which is fun but I can’t see myself choosing this over the classics. Omega ruby and alpha sapphire really where the highlights of doing an amazing Pokémon remakes and sadly I can’t see that quality happening again.

Genuinely liked the main characters. Really has you rooting for him. Definitely not for Squeamish super gory but I enjoyed it
