I have been an Eminem fan since 96 but playing devil's advocate.
This is the best lyrically astounding album, unrelenting skilled word play.
This comes 2nd only to the Marshall Mathers LP which is probably the best rap album of all time.
The death of slim shady is a close 2nd at 9.5.
The fact EVERY damn critic scores it below 5/10 stating Eminem is trying to stay relevant or he's the old man...proves these critics should never ever review a f##king thing!
Especially not a rap record, they haven't a clue and nobody listens to critics anyway am I right?
Ask anyone affiliated in the rap world be it a rapper, producer, CEO or anyone who's in that world will give you the REAL critics review
These white upper class shmucks wouldn't know how to review a rap record if it was told to them... moron's the lot.
Anyway, the album is phenomenal and the more you listen the more you realise how much depth there is to it. There's so much underlying talent to his lyrics it's absolutely astonishing.
I love it and I'm sure you will too, awesome and this will be a very hard album to beat.
Standout tracks:
Habits
Evil
Houdini
Fuel.
How can Eminem ever be out of touch or the grandad if rap when he's still so relevant, 25yrs behind him, multiple awards and no other rapper close to him.
That's just plain f##king disrespectful.
Long live the goat, for us as listeners let's hope he continues to rap well into his 50/60s/70s
