I had never heard of Mary Treat before this book but she should be chronicled in history. The stories of 2 families of different centuries were quite well written, with the entrance of real human beings, including Mary Treat. I listened to the audio book and it was pretty easy to distinguish between families/centuries. Well worth the time.
