I have always wondered if there might be a Planet where Aliens exist. So despite the fact that Westons don't appeal to me I enjoyed watching this film, which lifted the menace with the occasional comedic referral in the script, and the 'High Noon' style visitor's that the Towns people were subjected to. The supernatural is another subject that I find fascinating, film's like 'The Gift' that take place in one's everyday life. I enjoy Walter de la Mare's writings, his poem 'Mistletoe' is typical of his belief in another existence.
