I enjoyed this show! I've noticed that a lot of the critics rating it 1-2 stars are complaining about the "woke agenda."
There are only three short instances where J.W. is facing issues, with skeevy men trying to talk to her (I've seen men do this) with her not wanting advances. Then the case of her handling everything better than Bruce, it's most likely a way to speed up the story so we can get into the storyline (not a multi-year journey). Another instance would be just the fears that women do have, that speaking up may get them killed, it's legitimate fear women have, so it's relevant.
All of these sensitive boys presenting as men are really just afraid of any change outside of their status quo. It's funny because kids are probably taking this a lot better than these people.
