I believe that it should’ve been revised. Kinda scared for universal because overall this movie was about 3.5/10. Some movies just absolutely terrify you and scare you, such as The possession of Emily Rose(Which scares me till this day) The possession of Hannah Grace, The autopsy of Jane doe, Annabelle creation and some of the conjuring franchise movies are up there in the skill factor. The original Exorcist carried a lot of should say bad luck, which I sometimes believe on why the next 2 sequels failed miserably. I kinda think this movie needed more time, more compassion, more visualizing of how scary it is. I like the suspense of the first half, they should’ve pulled certain scenes as scariest they can get. Like push the boundaries to make people go ugh or whoa. That’s what the variable the first exorcist did. Even though that movie was the first and never had been done, which makes this movie so tough, because you will have to one up it. Why is it that I had no compassion to any of the girls, I really didn’t care on the end result. Movie needed reworked, or David Gordon Green needs to watch more movies of this criteria. Exorcism movies are tough but they scare people so you gotta make it as possible or else it’s just gonna feel flat. Movie definitely needed more work before hitting the big screen.
