Just about the most relentlessly boring film that I have ever seen. I don't necessarily want car chases and shoot-outs but some semblance of a plot and pacing would be useful. Benedict Cumberbatch, best actor nomination??? All he does is mumble his way incoherently through the whole two hours. Kirsten Dunst looks as though she has been constipated for months and Jesse Plemons appears to have had his face embalmed. No doubt the arty crowd will think it is wonderful but Emperor's New Clothes comes to mind. The only redeeming feature is that I did not have to pay to see it at the cinema. I only gave it one star because you cannot post without doing that as a minimum. No stars would have been my preference.
