My thoughts….
It is a really good book in my opinion, very eye opening and you can shed a tear or two reading the novel because it is just so powerful and raw.
The heart aching love story between both characters is just so painfully beautiful and unique.
All the people have a story, making the novel so interesting to read. The book really captures the struggles and commitments when being forced to work in Auschwitz during the holocaust.
It is interesting to note that it is painful to know that the nazis had such anti semitic attitude towards the Jews and how the Jews supposedly ruined Germanys morals and beliefs.
Definitely would recommend to people who are interested in the History of the Holocaust studying about the History of the Holocaust or just perhaps want a good read.
Heather Morris is such a wonderful writer and fills her novels full of compassion and pure innocence while diving in to more detail about the strains and hurtful conditions the Jews had to survive in. In this book her words just truely capture the life in Auschwitz during the time of the Holocaust in the most moving heart aching way.
