Netflix did a great job on this one. Reading the one star reviews people seem to forget that live actions have time and budget time constraints. The show covered 45 episodes, which are about 25 minutes each, and all of it was packed into eight 45 minute episodes. Condensing 18.75 hours into 6 hours. What's important is that they keep true to the overall story, which they did. The actors did an incredible job bring these characters to life. The costume, makeup, and the crew that built the set did a phenomenal job, with their attention to detail. When watching the show, watch the show for what it is instead of what it's not. Mangas, animes, and live action are 3 different worlds. The same story is being told, but they have slight variations and have to be adapted to apeal to their audiences. Think of them as a part of the multivese, in 3 seperate universes. I hope netflix green light the show for another season, and we get to see the Arabasta Arc introducing Chopper, ending with a set up for a 3rd season for Sky Island Saga.
