Let me explain it like we are five year olds.The world where is is messed up with a daughter is real.sad.Reason is because there were scenes is that world that he wasn't there like when his daughter went to see her brother,now if such scenes exist and is shown to us thar means its real cause no one is imagining it since the main actor is not in the scene.He is mentally disturbed.
