I'm never read any of the source materials or comics of venom. The only exposure I have to Venom are from the 2007 spiderman 3 and the PlayStation spiderman games. Honestly, I understand why long time fans are upset that didn't not get to see the venom of their dreams reach the big screen. However, I enjoy this trilogy very much. The songs of choice, the battle sequences and the emotional scenes were able to keep me entranced. An 8 out of 10 for me !
